Cyrus, the cousin of John who built our B & B, McCormick farm was the first successful demonstration of the mechanized reaper.  The Walnut grove Farm is now part of Virginia Tech, and is open for your self guided tours.

The  Blue Ridge Parkway is accessible by Route 56.  The parkway runs along the ridge of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is a great place to take a leisurely drive. So plan ahead and take a picnic lunch to enjoy at one of the many scenic overlooks.

How long has it been since you were at a real drive in theater.   Friday, Saturday and Sunday you can relive your youth at Hulls Drive Inn

Goshen Pass is a don't miss destination when the rhododendron are blooming.  This mountain gorge offers many outdoor  activities, fishing, canoeing, hiking.  There is a roadside park for us less active adventurers.

Natural Bridge is on of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world.   This 215 foot high natural rock bridge over the Cedar Creek still carries U.S. Route 11.   There are many other attractions at Natural Bridge, caverns, a zoo, an Indian village to name a few.
